Sarah Sloan
Senior Advisor
Sarah is a Senior Advisor at the Policing Project and an Associate Professor of Law, Legal Writing at Georgetown Law School. Previously, Sarah served as the Orrick Racial Justice Fellow at the Policing Project. Before working at the Policing Project, Sarah was a member of the Supreme Court and Appellate group at Orrick, where she maintained an active pro bono practice focused on civil rights and criminal justice. Sarah is a graduate of Yale University and Columbia Law School. After law school, Sarah served as a law clerk to Justice Elena Kagan and Justice John Paul Stevens of the U.S. Supreme Court, to Judge Michelle Friedland of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and to Judge Alison Nathan, then of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
