Hal Hess is a co-founder of Paradigm Infrastructure Limited, a developer of shared wireless infrastructure in emerging markets.

Prior to forming Paradigm, Mr. Hess was the Executive Vice President of International Operations and the President of the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America regions of American Tower Corporation, from which he retired in 2019.

Prior to American Tower, Mr. Hess was a partner in the corporate finance group at King & Spalding LLP, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters for telecommunications and infrastructure companies. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Hess practiced as a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Hess received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University and is a graduate of Harding University. He is an active member in his community, having served on the boards of the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston; Make-a-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts and Rhode Island; WBUR (Boston NPR Affiliate); and Montserrat College of Art.
