Ryan Gerber
Senior Counsel
Ryan Gerber is Senior Counsel on the litigation team at the Policing Project. Ryan has litigated in state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout the country. Prior to joining the Policing Project, Ryan was a litigator with Everytown Law, where he represented cities, states, and survivors of gun violence on both the plaintiff and defense side. Prior to that, Ryan was a litigation associate at Jenner and Block, where he maintained an active criminal and civil pro bono practice. Ryan has also published in the Cardozo Law Review and served as a guest editor for the Federal Sentencing Reporter. Ryan is a graduate of The College of New Jersey and NYU School of Law, where he was a Notes Editor on the Annual Survey of American Law and won the Gary E. Moncrieffe award for excellence in the area of racism and the law. Ryan clerked for Judge Jack B. Weinstein on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
